Acer tataricum subsp. ginnala 'Flame'
The Amur Flame Maple is deciduous, typically grows as a small, upright spreading tree with a dense, rounded crown or as a large multi-stemmed shrub. Plant 6' - 8' apart to form a stunning fall hedge. The leaf color is glossy dark green in summer and changing to one of the most brilliant red colored trees in the fall. The flowers are yellowish white and bloom in April to May.
